This step looks back at the other steps to see where improvements can be made, and unload anything not helpful

This is the final step that helps you ensure the plan is stable and sustainable and/or repeatable.

Come up with the initial idea or vision. Identify the need or problem to address.

STEP 2 – Research

Gather information to inform the idea. Understand current solutions, competitors, target audience.

STEP 3 – Planning

Map out the steps to execute the idea. Set goals, timeline, resources required, roles.

STEP 4 – Development

Start building/creating the product, service, process, or initiative.

STEP 5 – Testing

Try it out with small groups. Get feedback. Refine based on learnings.

STEP 6 – Launch

Introduce it to the full intended audience. Market and promote it.

STEP 7 – Evaluation

Collect data on results, user experience. Assess what’s working and where improvements or are needed.

STEP 8 – Sustainability

Make ongoing enhancements. Plan for long-term maintenance and growth. Incorporate as a regular process.
